International Medicine Group was founded in 2019 by a small team of physicians and education advisors who had seen too many medical vocations turned away by national quotas. We started in Spain, expanded to France, then Portugal — always with the same conviction: a calling to medicine deserves more than a number on a scoresheet.
Today, IMG operates as a European hub: country offices that speak your language and understand your school system, backed by a shared network of partner universities, jurists, accommodation specialists and clinical mentors across 12 EU countries.

We assess each student's transcript, scientific aptitudes (biology, chemistry, mathematics) and language skills to identify the European universities where their profile genuinely fits — not the ones that just sound good.
Our proprietary Laënnec test evaluates motivation, intercultural adaptability, autonomy and emotional readiness. It is not a psychological diagnosis — it is an orientation tool that anticipates what kind of student you will be abroad.

5 stages to start
your medical degree in Europe.
An orientation call with an IMG advisor (40 min), a student interview with the Laënnec test (20 min) and a personalised university analysis (40 min). Free, no commitment, with a written report sent to your inbox.
We schedule entrance exams that fit your calendar, manage all sworn translations through our in-house education translation team, prepare you with tutorials and mock exams, and coordinate Remote Admission Programs so you don't travel until you have a yes.
We process the university enrolment, supervise legalisations and apostilles with the relevant ministry, manage the visa or residence permit, and coordinate the academic recognition of your prior qualifications by the host country's authorities (nostrification) — the formal step that allows your foreign secondary or university record to be accepted locally.
Preferences study (private flat, shared, residence), document handling with landlords, legal review of every contract by our jurist team, advance video-tour and roommate matchmaking among IMG students.
City-specific webinar before departure, on-campus welcome event, Buddy Program with a senior-year mentor, IMG international community and Care Program (psychologist, nutritionist, academic mentor) throughout the entire degree.
